OS1-4 Analysis and Compensation of the Effect of the Enclosure in a Multichannel RF Front-End

The aim of this work is to analyze the resonant frequencies of the enclosure of a multichannel RF front-end intended for receiving the GPS signals. The obtained results show that the resonant modes of the designed enclosure can degrade the performance of the receiver. In order to overcome this problem, we propose to use an absorber material for damping the cavity resonances. Measurements carried out demonstrate the effectiveness of the implemented solution.
